Thought For The Day
Why aren't the words "baseline" and "Vaseline" pronounced the same? I'm going to start pronouncing them the same way and see if I can start a trend. I'm not sure which pronunciation to go with, but I'm leaning towards "Vaseline," what with The World Series coming up and all. It'll be cool to hear Joe Buck say:
Craig Biggio tried to go all the way, but he ran out of the baseline. It looked like he could have slid right in there, but now he's out.
