Rumor Has It......
That George Strait is recording at Shrimp Boat Sound on Key West Bight. Now I'm sure George is a real nice guy, but he has without the question the most boring stage show I've ever seen.
We caught a little of his show in Texas Stadium last year when he appeared with Jimmy. He could have saved time and money by just putting a mannequin of himself out there and playing recorded music. Who'd know the difference?
Thanks to Doug Bennett for that little item. Well, the item about Strait being in Key West, not the one about how his show sucks. That one was all me. At least he's cool enough to get the key to Shrimp Boat Sound.......Best I can hope for is to slide on up those steps on the left there, and amble on down to the Schooner Wharf for some cold beer, conch fritters, and Michael McCloud.
