Buffett Sighting - Today Show
Jimmy is on the Today Show as we speak, and Matt Lauer asked him about the "ecstasy" incident in France. Jimmy told him about the FoltX, which he called an "old man drug," and Lauer asked him why he paid the fine instead of having the Frenchies test the pills. He said he did have them tested, and they came back "positive," but all they wanted was a small fine. As you heard it here first, he said he wanted the hell out of there, so he paid the fine and hauled ass.
He commented that it's easier to prove your innocence from a five-star hotel than a jail cell. Good line, much like his response to Lauer's question about whether he is disappointed that radio stations don't play his music.
"They play me a lot on Radio Margaritaville."
By the way, Mac sounded like shit on Bama Breeze. Like he was trying to sing an octave too high or something.
