A Hypertensive Update
For those of you keeping score at home, I got a new med on Friday. The Crime Dog BP is a calm, cool, collected 129/75. I'm gonna live forever. Of course, there are a few potential side effects listed along with it, like (I highlighted my favorites) back pain, respiratory tract infection, sinus inflammation, abdominal pain, chest pain, cough, dizziness, fatigue, flu-like symptoms, headache, high blood pressure (Say WHAT?), indigestion, muscle aches, nausea, pain, sore throat, swelling, urinary tract infection, impotence (Ain't happening. Uh-uh. No way), abnormal vision, allergy, anxiety, arthritis, asthma, boils, bronchitis (wheezing), diarrhea, constipation (Is this possible? BOTH?), depression, diabetes, difficulty breathing, drowsiness, dry mouth, earache, ear infection, eczema, fever, flushing (what the hell is THAT?), fungal infection (where?), gastrointestinal disorders, gout, hemorrhoids, impaired sensibility (been there, did that, got the tee shirt), increased urination, infection, insomnia, itching, joint pain, leg cramps, leg pain, migraine, muscle contractions, gas (this one I may actually like), nervousness, nosebleed, pinkeye (conjunctivitis), rapid heartbeat, rash, reduced sensitivity, ringing in the ear, runny nose, stomach and intestinal problems, sweating (In Phoenix? No way!), swollen leg, tingling or burning sensation, toothache (I guess only if you tryy and chew it?), urinary tract infection, vomiting.
Oh well, so long as I don't get 'em all at once, I think I'll make it. And my BP seems fixed. I got that going for me.
