And The Real Bad News Is You Have An Appointment With Him Tomorrow

I read in the paper today that we now have in our midst a doctor who was deemed by the state of Missouri to be incompetent to participate in prisoner executions. How the hell does this work? Since a doctor's purpose is to ease suffering and save lives, does it follow that one who is not competent to kill people is actually a really good doctor? Or does the fact that he cannot competently kill someone make him a top tier candidate for the title of "Worst Doctor In the Universe"? How do you fire a guy like that?

Dr. _________, it has been determined by this medical review board that you are too stupid to successfully kill people. We recommend you go back to healing them instead.

How would you feel if you were chatting up your doctor right before your quadruple bypass surgery, and just as the anesthesia begins to take effect, dude mentions that he just got fired from his old job at the penitentiary because he was judeged incompetent to kill people?

This Kevorkian wannabe needs to find another line of work.
