What Is Crime Dog Working On Musically?
Glad you asked.
Besides the usual learning to play the guitar without setting off every dog in Maricopa County, and trying to figure out how to carry a tune in a bushel basket, I've been working on some songs.
Steve-O and I sat down last night and worked ouy a pretty good arrangement of Lyin' Eyes, but the songs I'm having a lot of fun playing right now are:
We Are The People Our Parents Warned Us About (Buffett)
Banana Republics (Buffett)
Tupelo Honey (Van Morrison)
Angel From Montgomery (John Prine)
Spanish Pipe Dream (John Prine)
Schooner Wharf Bar Dog (Michael McCloud)
Berkeley Woman (Bryan Bowers)
Cowboy Boots and Bathing Suits (Jerry Jeff Walker)
Long May You Run (Neil Young)
Unknown Legend (Neil Young)
So many songs, so little talent......sigh.
