Happy Birthday and Sail On, Mom
Mom and I with a nice string of channel catfish, at my Uncle Alton's ranch on the Pedernales River near Fredricksburg, TX, 1967 or 1968.
She would have been 82 today if her time hadn't arrived much too early for all of us just last year.
Sail on, Mom. I love you and miss you every day. I wish I could celebrate your birthday with you once again with a couple of beers and a game of pool at The Eagles.
Those of you who still have your Moms, just take some time and enjoy them. Give her a call, or better yet, a hug while you can.
Before you know it........she's gone.
