A Bit Of A Hiatus
Parrothead Ramblings is currently on a short hiatus of sorts. The Queen of The Crime Dog family, the Fetching Grandma Crime Dog, AKA my Mom, is very ill and probably has days or even hours left before she sails into the mystic. The Crime Dog family is very sad as we await this inevitable loss, and not much in a humorous mood.
Nonetheless, Grandma Crime Dog would not brook this sort of melancholy for long, and would be the first to say "Get over it. Grab a beer. Put on some tunes and stop acting like an asshole!" I'm not making this up. She really, really would. Until she first started having serious health problems at the age of 75, she could drink The Crime Dog right under the ol' table. And she called me an asshole on more than one occasion. She was usually right.
So give us a couple days to work through this, and we'll be back soon.
